Lemon Haze – a strain that is genuinely as refreshing as it sounds.
There’s nothing I like more than discovering a good sativa, and Lemon Haze is just that. Cross between Lemon Skunk and Silver Haze, this sativa dominant, hybrid strain provides a very powerful head buzz and upper body high that will definitely get you in the zone and feeling good. Lemon Haze would be perfect to smoke in the day time or before doing something social, as it made me extremely talkative, uplifted and euphoric. It would also be optimum for doing some sort of art project, being that it greatly boosts your creativity. You will feel relaxed, but can definitely still be productive and alert after consuming this strain.
This is one of the better tasting weed strains I have found out there. There really is a zesty, lemon flavor that accompanies your experience with this one. It’s not an overpowering citrus taste, but more of a sweet and lemony combination. Because it is so flavorful, this would be an excellent strain to vape with, since using a vaporizer works as such a flavor enhancer. Lemon Haze not only has similarities between its name and taste, but also its smell too. When I brought my bag of Lemon Haze into the house, I felt like I had just entered into a tropical paradise. You’ll find that this strain is very fragrant and also very pretty to look at. In appearance, it is very crystallized and frosted with trichomes. The buds are green and have thick, either red, amber or orange hairs.
I’m not the only one who is a huge fan of this dynamic strain. In 2008, Lemon Haze won the High Times Cannabis Cup with almost no competition. Many attribute this win to its super high THC content measuring in at around 25 percent. The two strains that were used to breed with have also taken home various awards at a range of cannabis competitions throughout the United States over the past few years.
You can see why Lemon Haze is such a well-rounded and refreshing strain to come across. Unfortunately, around Fort Collins you will need your med card to purchase this delicious strain– but if you can get your hands on it, it’s definitely worth it.
