It’s a new month with some new beginnings. A new writer for Budding Fort Collins is joining our team in the Scoop Blog Network, and you’ll read her first post here after Labor Day.
She’s going to bring some behind-the-scenes insights on our local dispensaries, including industry interviews and reviews. We’ll see also read more about local products and strains that are being created here right in our evolving city. I’ll let her explain the rest in her first post!
So, you’ll notice that things are looking a little different around here with a brand new Budding Fort Collins logo. In fact, you’ll notice that all of the websites within the network have been updated.
We’ve been working on refreshing some things, including launching our new local adventures, Choose Your Own Fort Collins. It’s been a year in the making and we still have a bit of work to do before it goes live, but we’re getting close.
Our writers have been publishing information for you to learn more about our city and explore Fort Collins in a way you may never have before. We highlight the old and the new, the familiar and the secret gems. Our writers in our network are essentially digital adventure guides for you. With Choose Your Own Fort Collins, our goal is to not only provide you with information and resources to read, but to also get you out there and live Fort Collins… to the fullest.
I’ve spent years thinking about what makes life amazing. I’ve noticed that our readers get to read about our stories, but many times don’t make it out to adventure on their own.
We’re changing that.
Our writers direct you to live music events that give you the chills; parks that echo the laughter from your kids on the swings; fresh local produce that was grown by your neighboring farm to spread on your dinner table; restaurants that exemplify culinary arts; mountain tops that provide the perfect place for a Colorado sunrise; safe bike paths to travel sustainably; historical insights to connect to our ancestral roots; and ways to explore the new emerging cannabis culture with that Rocky Mountain High.
And with these changes, we hope to help you live Fort Collins to the fullest.
